The three that have been charged have been remanded, and are next due to appear at the Old Bailey on a future date yet to be fixed.

The 31-year-old man and 29-year-old woman have been released on police bail and are due to return in September 2023.

The individuals had a mixture of 19 passports, driving licences, identity cards and residence permits from multiple countries including France, Italy, Bulgaria, Spain, Britain, Greece, Croatia, the Czech Republic and Slovenia in their possession.

All three are believed to be Bulgarian, Martin Brunt, Sky News’s crime correspondent, said.

Dzambazov and Ivanova are also reportedly in a relationship, Brunt said.

The investigation is being led by the Metropolitan Police’s counter-terrorism command.
