Austin Drummond and Andre Brown are charged with attempted murder following a fight on August 29, 2023 at Northwest Correctional Complex. Drummond is charged with attempted murder of fellow inmate Timothy Singleton and introduction of contraband into a penal facility. Andre Brown, who was incarcerated with Drummond at the time, is also charged with attempted murder for his role in the fight. Singleton was stabbed in the head, side, face, and arms. In total Singleton was stabbed 17 times during the altercation.
