Trisha Meyer, 34, was arrested last week after police discovered a large male tiger and three tiger cubs, along with monkeys, a skunk, a fox and a cougar, in her Cypress, Texas, home while her teen daughter — who is homeschooled — was there.
She has permits for the tigers but not for her skunks and foxes.
The Houston Police Department was called to the home on Sept. 26 after Meyer tried to sell an exotic Savannah kitten to a for $3,000 but never gave him the animal after he sent her the money, according to papers filed in Harris County Court.
The animal enthusiast fled to Las Vegas with her tigers after the landlord kicked her out after being contacted by police. After authorities tracked Meyer to Las Vegas, she fled to Pahrump Nevada, where she was arrested on Nov. 7.
Following her arrest, Meyer was being held on $2,000 bail in the Nye County, Nevada, Jail.
