Moroadi Cholota, who at the time was working as a personal assistant to the then-premier Ace Magashule, is facing charges of fraud, corruption and money laundering. The alleged crimes relate to a R255-million asbestos contract that was awarded to Blackhead Consulting by Free State Human Settlements. Cholota was extradited from the USA to face the charges.
