Brooks Houck is charged with murder in the disappearance of Crystal Rogers in 2015. Houck is charged with murder and tampering with evidence. Crystal Rogers was reported missing in July of 2015. Houck was Rogers her boyfriend and the father of one of her children. Steven Lawson and his son Joseph Lawson are also charged in the case. Stephen Lawson is charged with criminal conspiracy to commit murder and tampering with physical evidence. Joseph Lawson is also charged in the case. He is charged with conspiracy to commit murder and complicity to tampering with evidence. Rogers disappeared from her home in Bardstown, Kentucky, on July 3, 2015. Her red sedan was found on the Bluegrass Parkway with her keys, phone and purse still inside. Stephen Lawson's son Joseph Lawson allegedly drove Crystal Rogers vehicle. It had a flat tire and Joseph allegedly called his father, saying he needed some help. It is claimed that Stephen Lawson then came out and picked Joseph up, brought him back to Bardstown and dropped him off. Cooperation between Stephen Lawson and law enforcement in exchange for immunity from prosecution had occurred but that agreement fell apart - it is unclear why.
