Sean Foley Trial

Sean Patrick Foley, 25, is charged with first-degree murder for allegedly shooting Jimmie L. Shelton, 44, on Aug. 28, 2018.

Foley told authorities that he caught Shelton in an apparent sexual act with Foley’s girlfriend. Foley also told police that he shot Shelton because he had molested his girlfriend for several years and coerced her into sex using a car as bait.

The woman testified in October that Shelton had been in a relationship with her mother during that time. Foley taped Shelton and the woman for about 20 minutes before the shooting.
