Roy Coons Trial

Roy D. Coons Jr, 45, is accused of strangling and killing 12-year-old Yhoana Arteaga.

Police say Coons was identified as a suspect in the slaying after ‘scientific analysis’ of evidence found at the scene.

He has been charged with first-degree premeditated murder, two counts of first-degree felony murder, attempted rape of a child, and especially aggravated burglary.
