Lou Anna Simon, the former president of Michigan State University, is accused of lying to the police regarding the Larry Nassar scandal.
According to court documents, she failed to disclose what she knew about the case.
Simon is charged with two felony counts of lying to a peace officer in a violent crime investigation and two misdemeanor counts of lying to a peace officer.
If convicted, Simon faces up to four years in prison.
