Jordan Lamonde Trial

Jordan Lamonde, 22, is charged with second-degree assault.

Lamonde allegedly attacked a woman as she was leaving her shift at Planet Fitness in Rochester. Lamonde allegedly waited outside the fitness club on North Main Street for eight hours until Erin McCarthy finished her shift. Then Lamonde walked past McCarthy and approached her from behind, according to surveillance video.

McCarthy told police she did not know Lamonde and that he punched her numerous times in the head, kneed her in the face and threw her to the ground, according to an affidavit for Lamonde’s arrest.

Lamonde could face up to seven years in prison if found guilty.
