Jessica Groves and Daniel Groves Trial

Jessica Groves and Daniel Groves were indicted on charges of aggravated murder, murder, kidnapping, endangering children, tampering with evidence, interference with custody, gross abuse of a corpse and four counts of felonious assault in the death of their months-old son, whose body was found in a well not far from their southern Ohio home.

Their son, Dylan, was found dead in June, about six months after his birth.

According to the autopsy report, Dylan had several different bone fractures. The report states the baby’s body was wrapped in plastic bags with duct tape around them. The report goes on to say that his body was placed in milk crates bound by chains, pad locks, zip ties and metal wires. It says the crates were weighted down with rocks and an iron-anchor type weight.
