Jake Patterson Sentencing

Jake Patterson, 21, is accused of murdering James and Denise Closs and kidnapping Jayme Closs.

James and Denise Closs, were found fatally shot in their Barron County, Wisconsin, home on October 15, 2018. An intense search for Jayme ended on January 10 when she was found alive and Patterson was arrested about 70 miles from her home.

Patterson had been holding Jayme against her will in his home for 87 days but she escaped while he was out.

Jayme provided a description of Patterson’s vehicle and ten minutes after Jayme was found, Patterson was pulled over and arrested.
