Erik Sackett Trial

39-year-old Erik Sackett is charged with first-degree intentional homicide as part of the Erin Somvilai investigation.

Police say on June 17th, the body of Somvilai was found in Runge Hollow Lake in Vernon County with concrete blocks attached to her. She had been missing since June 4th 2018.

Information led investigators to focus on Sackett. Investigators say Sackett was interviewed and provided statements which were determined to be inaccurate.
