Darryl Patterson was accused of drugging and raping unconscious women.
Investigators said Darryl Patterson raped the women in his home, while they were unconscious, in 2009.
He was arrested in 2016 after an ex-girlfriend turned video of some alleged assaults over to investigators years earlier.
On the recording, the victim begs Patterson multiple times to wait until the next day. But the victim didn’t remember the incident.
The defense acknowledges that Patterson is the one on the tape and chose to focus on whether the sex was consensual.
