Armond A. Johnson, 26, is facing 14 counts of aggravated murder, two counts of aggravated burglary, four counts of aggravated arson, kidnapping, two counts of endangering children, having weapons under disability and tampering with evidence.
The charges relate to the slayings of two children, their mother and another man in Slavic Village.
Officers found the body of 35-year-old David Cousin Jr. in an empty lot adjacent to a home where the bodies of Takeyra Collins, 25, and her two children – Aubree Stone, 2, and Armond Johnson Jr., 6, were found inside.
According to authorities, 6-year-old Armond Johnson Jr., was the son of the suspect.
Prosecutors are seeking the death penalty.
In an unrelated robbery Johnson also faces charges of aggravated robbery, abduction, grand theft, two counts of aggravated theft and having weapons under disability.
