ORLANDO, Fla. – Victor Wriden. 21, was sentenced today to 45 years in prison for a fatal home invasion he committed when he was 16 years old.
Victor Wriden, 21, was convicted of murder, armed robbery and armed burglary with an assault, in April in the death of Esteban Calderon, 67.
Along with two other 16 year olds, Wriden and two other 16-year-olds broke into a Pine Hills home in July 2012 and attacked Calderon. Calderon was beaten in the head with a concrete paver and died four days later.
The other two men involved, Ronald Edouard and Luner Axcius, are serving 15-year sentences.
