Quentin Smith

Quentin Smith, 32, is charged with two counts of aggravated murder in the Feb. 10, 2018, shooting deaths of Officers Eric Joering and Anthony Morelli. The officers were killed, and Smith wounded, in an exchange of gunfire as the policemen entered his townhouse in Westerville, Ohio to investigate a 911 hang-up call from his wife involving a domestic dispute. If found guilty of either the purposeful killing of an on-duty officer or the purposeful killing of two or more people, Smith could be sentenced to death.
