Randy Reynolds Trial

Randy Reynolds, 55, of Dickson, faces multiple charges in connection with a head-on car crash near White Bluff that killed a woman, injured a passenger in her car and led to his arrest after he tried to flee the scene.

Irma Lopez Ortiz, 19, of Vanleer, died at the scene of the collision that late Sunday afternoon. Her passenger, 18-year-old Paul Pewitt of Cumberland Furnace, was transported to Vanderbilt University Medical Center.

According to the THP, Reynolds was traveling westbound on Highway 70 when his Ford F-250 pickup crossed the centerline into the path of a Nissan Versa occupied by Ortiz and Pewitt. Reynolds was allegedly driving on a revoked license.
