Michael Barisone Trial

Michael Barisone is a former Olympian and Dressage Coach. Barisone faces two counts of attempted murder and two counts of second-degree possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose.

Authorities say he shot student-tenant Lauren Kanarek in the chest twice, and also opened fire at, but missed, her fiance Rob Goodwin.

Barison had been trying to evict Kanarek from his farm in Long Valley, New Jersey, claiming that the couple threatened him.
