Kevin Olsen Trial

Former UNC Charlotte quarterback Kevin Olsen is charged with three counts of second-degree rape in connection with an alleged attack on his then-girlfriend in February 2017.

The alleged assaults took place in Olsen’s apartment near the UNCC campus, and involved a former UNCC student he was then dating.

Olsen and accuser went out drinking the night of the incident but became separated. During their time apart, Olsen sent her a text threatening to kill her.

When the pair reunited at his apartment early the next morning, the argument ‘flared again.’ Olsen punched the victim in the face and then sexually assaulted her three times, investigators say.
