Deborah St Charles Sentencing

Police said St. Charles was the driver of the Little Miracles Academy van in which Myles Hill died. She is charged with aggravated manslaughter of a child.

Police said St. Charles picked up Myles from his great-grandmother’s home and placed him in the van and drove to the second Little Miracles location and parked.

She later told police that she assumed all the children made it inside the day care and did not do a head count, according to officials.

Myles was found by another day care employee in the van outside Little Miracles Academy after the boy’s great-grandmother called the day care to report that he hadn’t been dropped off at home.
