Joshua and Felicia Gross are charged in the death of 10-year-old Jayden Spicer. On August 12, 2025 Kentucky State Police troopers found the body of 10-year-old Jayden Spicer nearly 20 miles from his home in Jackson after being led to where the body was by his mother Felicia. Before his body was found Felicia Gross allegedly told police on August 6, 2025 that Jayden had gone missing and that he had disappeared during the night of August 5 and she didn't know where he was. She also posted a handwritten note on social media asking for his return. Felicia is charged with murdering Jayden Spicer, abusing his corpse, falsely reporting a missing child to generate an emergency response from law enforcement, evidence tampering, and tampering with a witness. Jayden's stepfather, Joshua Gross is charged with being complicit in Jayden's murder, witness tampering, complicity in the false report, and tampering with evidence. Investigators say Felicia had coached the Jayden's younger siblings about what to say in police interviews. Felicia Gross allegedly admitted to giving her son a type of sleeping medication that caused a fatal medical emergency. She allegedly told investigators that she took his body to a wooded area where he was buried in a plastic tote.
