The Michigan Legislature created a joint committee to tackle issues surrounding the Flint water crisis. The Flint Water Public Health Emergency Committee, they were created to review findings, take testimony and consider new policies to prevent a similar disaster in the future. Today they are holding a public hearing in the city to give as many people as possible a chance to speak up and be heard by legislators. Public remarks will be limited to three minutes each.
