Victoria Rios is one of four people connected to the murder of Eric Roopnarine in Osceola County. She was 17 years old when she was arrested in 2013. Rios is accused of luring Roopnarine with the promise of sex for money, gaining his trust in an attempt to rob him. Prosecutors said Rios was one of the three people in the room when Roopnarine was shot and killed. Juan Muriel was imprisoned after taking a plea deal that did not include murder charges because he was not inside the home. He has agreed to testify for the prosecution. David Damus was convicted earlier this year for murder in the case. The alleged ring leader, Konrad Schafer, is still waiting to go on trial.
