Former Fort Pierce police officer Otto Lenke was convicted in the 2021 killing of motorcycle shop owner Richard Benson. Prosecutors said Lenke shot Benson three times inside his Fort Pierce motorcycle repair shop in February 2021, then poured a flammable liquid throughout the building and set it on fire while Benson was still alive. Surveillance video captured the attack and fire inside the shop.
