In February 2023 an unknown woman made a 911 call reporting a domestic dispute inside the home of Ohio dentist Spencer Tepe and Monique Tepe, who were found dead in their home on February 24, 2023. The au pair affair murder trial of Brendan Banfield is set to begin on January 12, 2026. Brendan is charged in the killings of Christine Banfield and Joseph Ryan. Prosecutors say Brendan was having an affair with the family's au pair, Juliana Magalhães.
