David Solomon Duenas on September 11, 2022, struck his former partner Denessa Duenas with a firearm causing bodily injury to her and shot at, but missed, her current boyfriend Christian Rodriguez. Danessa, Christian and a friend, Charles Waterson, were watching an NFL game but left to go to a pre-arranged pick up of the son of Denessa and David Duenas. It was when they arrived at the home to collect her son that the altercation took place.
