Stephen Duxbury is accused of killing Sasha Samsudean, who was found strangled to death in her bed in her downtown apartment on Oct. 17, 2015. Investigators said Samsudean returned to the Uptown Place Apartments early on the morning of Oct. 17, 2015 after being out with friends. Surveillance video showed Samsudean in the building, and Duxbury with her. When questioned, Duxbury said he spoke with Samsudean, but he denied entering her apartment. If convicted Duxbury faces life in prison.
