Michael Rivera

A Wayne County jury convicted Michael Rivera, 23, of conspiracy to commit murder of his teenage girlfriend's siblings and her parents. He was convicted on four counts of conspiracy to commit murder, one count of assault with intent to murder and one count of felonious assault. Prosecutors said Rivera stood outside the home last October and sent text message instructions to 15-year-old Roksana Sikorski on how to fatally stab her family members. Prosecutors said Sikorski used a knife to cut her 12-year-old brother's neck and tried to stab her younger sister before stopping. Sikorski is facing the same charges as Rivera and is slated to go to trial later in 2015. She's being tried as an adult.
