Michael McKee is charged with two counts of aggravated murder with premeditation in the killings of Ohio couple Monique Tepe, 39, and Spencer Tepe, 37 . Their bodies were discovered on December 30, 2025 when The couple were found shot dead in their Columbus residence by a friend after Spencer, a dentist at an Athens dental practice, failed to show up to work. Their young children and dog were unharmed, and there was no sign of forced entry. McKee used to be married to victim Monique Tepe from from 2015 to 2017. McKee, a vascular surgeon was arrested after police tracked a vehicle that had been parked in the neighborhood at the time of the killings to Rockford, Illinois.
