Matthew Desha was indicted on 16 charges, including aggravated murder, following the shooting death of 53-year-old Deborah Pearl of Twinsburg in September 2016. Police said Desha ran a red light on Solon Road at Richmond Road and crashed into Pearl’s car. He then exited his vehicle with a rifle and shot Pearl multiple times. Neighbors at the time said Desha, a military veteran, suffered from PTSD.
