Lori Vallow Daybell was found guilty with two counts of first-degree murder and three counts of conspiracy in the 2019 deaths of her children 17-year-old Tylee Ryan and 7-year-old Joshua 'JJ' Vallow, as well as conspiring to kill Tammy Daybell, the first wife of her husband Chad Daybell. She was also found guilty of grand theft for collecting Social Security benefits on behalf of her children after their deaths. She faces life in prison when sentenced. Chad Daybell has pleaded not guilty to his charges and will be tried separately. Tammy Daybell died in her sleep in October 2019 - Lori married Chad weeks later. The remains of the children were discovered in Chad's backyard in Fremont County, Idaho, in June 2020. He faces two felony counts of conspiracy to commit destruction, alteration or concealment of evidence and two felony counts of destruction, alteration or concealment of evidence. Shortly after her conviction, Lori Vallow Daybell was indicted on another conspiracy to commit murder charge for allegedly conspiring to murder Brandon Boudreaux, who was married to Lori's niece. Boudreaux survived the alleged plot. Lori Vallow Daybell has also been indicted by an Arizona grand jury on a charge of conspiracy to commit first-degree murder in the death of her fourth husband, Charles Vallow, who was fatally shot in 2019. The indictment alleges that Vallow had 'agreed' with her brother, Alex Cox, that 'at least one of them or another would engage in conduct constituting the offense of First Degree Murder'. Cox was not charged since he died on December 12, 2019 from what was determined were natural causes.
