The son of music legend Sello Chicco Twala is accused by Chicco of stealing his studio equipment worth more than R 400 000 from Sello Chicco Twala home in Fourways in Johannesburg, while he was out of the country. Twala senior opened a case of robbery and theft against his sons Sello and Longwe. However, Sello was released due to a lack of evidence, leaving Longwe as the primary suspect in the case. ongwe is no stranger to legal trouble and has previously been involved in controversial incidents, including being a person of interest in the Senzo Meyiwa murder case.
