Karim Moore is one of three suspects charged in connection with the murder of Oakland County Sheriff's deputy Bradley Recklin. Karim Moore, 18, pleaded guilty to receiving and concealing a stolen vehicle, felony firearms, and conducting a criminal enterprise. Reckling was investigating a vehicle that had been stolen and was following the stolen vehicle in Detroit's east side when the occupants suddenly got out. The suspects started shooting, hitting Reckling in the head and chest. The suspects ran but a dog tracked them and found them on a porch. In his plea deal, Moore avoids the potential of life in prison and could be sentenced to anywhere from 3 to 20 years in prison. |
