Joseph Harris is charged with murder in the death of Isaiah Orozco. The indictment alleges Harris intentionally and knowingly caused Orozco’s death with a firearm. On February 28, 2023 2 men got into an argument. Both pulled out a gun during the argument, but one of the men walked away while the other opened fire on him. Orozco was shot multiple times in his head and body. Orozco was in critical condition the day of the shooting. The ME’s office later released his cause of death and identified him as the shooting victim on March 8. If convicted, Harris could face a punishment of five to 99 years or life in prison and a possible fine of up to $10,000.
