Henry Tenon

Henry Tenon was arrested in January 2023 on charges of second-degree murder, conspiracy to commit murder, accessory after the fact and child abuse in connection with the death of Microsoft executive Jared Bridegan. In March 2023, he pleaded guilty to a single charge of second-degree murder and saw the other charges dropped after he agreed to testify against two other defendants in the case. Bridegan's ex-wife Shanna Gardner and her husband Mario Fernandez Saldana are charged with masterminding Bridegan's murder. Bridegan was gunned down after dropping off two of his children at the Jacksonville Beach home of Shanna Gardner-Fernandez, his ex-wife, who had gone on to marry Saldana-Fernandez. Bridegan and his ex were in the midst of an increasingly bitter custody fight at the time. Tenon was a former tenant at one of the Saldana-Fernandez rental properties. Tenon would now like to withdraw his guilty plea entirely and has said that he no longer intends to testify at Gardner and Fernandez's trial. In a motion Tenon states that he wants to proceed to trial himself, entering a not-guilty plea.
