Hemy Neuman

Hemy Neuman, 57, was accused of shooting and killing Russell (Rusty) Sneiderman outside a daycare center in Dunwoody on the morning of Novmeber 18, 2010. He is charged with malice murder and possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony. Neuman was initially convicted in March 2012 for malice murder, but mentally ill, in the death of Sneiderman and was sentenced to life in prison without parole. The Georgia Supreme Court reversed the verdict in June 2015, setting the stage for a retrial of Neuman. Rusty Sneiderman was the husband of Neuman's employee and lover Andrea Sneiderman. Andrea Sneiderman was sentenced in August, 2013 to five years in prison for nine counts of perjury and making false statements in connection with the November 2010 death of her husband. She served 22 months of her sentence before being released on parole.
