Three former South African Revenue Service (SARS) officials are expected to appear in the North Gauteng High Court in Pretoria again this morning. Ivan Pillay, Johann van Loggerenberg and Andries Janse van Rensburg face charges relating to their alleged involvement in the so-called 'rogue unit'. It's alleged that the men unlawfully bugged the National Prosecuting Authority's offices in 2007. The prosecution is expected to ask the court for the case to be postponed to November 2019. This will be to allow the NPA to consider recommendations of a review panel.
