Judge to rule on whether Oxford High School shooter Ethan Crumbley can be sentenced to life in prison without parole, the harshest punishment available in Michigan. Ethan Crumbley was accused of opening fire at Oxford High School. He is accused of fatally shooting four fellow students and wounding seven other people. Crumbley, a sophomore at the high school, faced 24 charges in connection with the Nov. 30 mass shooting, including:- One count of terrorism causing death; Four counts of first-degree murder; Seven counts of assault with intent to murder; and 12 counts of possession of a firearm in the commission of a felony. Only days before the shooting, Ethan's parents had purchased the handgun used in the shooting at the school, apparently as a Christmas gift for Ethan.
