Erika Castro-Miles is charged with the premeditated first-degree murder of Sgt. Baker on May 30. Sgt. Baker was shot six times and 45 caliber shell casings were found at the scene. Steven Wiggins allegedly grabbed Sgt. Baker's weapon and even answered his cell phone, pretending to be Sgt. Baker on a call with another deputy. While Wiggins was taking off in Sgt. Baker's SUV, Castro-Miles allegedly ran away from the scene. She was found hours later under a shed. After authorities conducted an intensive search for Wiggins, he was captured with a backpack containing the backup weapon of Sgt. Baker, the fallen deputy's knife, and keys to the SUV.
