Edgar Collazo faced eight different charges, including sexual battery, kidnapping and burglary, in three different attacks on women. He is known as the alleged 'Hello Kitty' rapist because of a tattoo he has. Collazo was arrested last year after police say he tried raping a woman in the parking lot of an IHOP. Prosecutors also had DNA evidence that connects him to a crime from 2012 where a woman claimed Collazo broke into her apartment, threatened her with a knife and then raped her.
