Dion Bryant, 20, of Center Line, is charged with two counts of armed robbery, two counts of first-degree home invasion, one count of second-degree home invasion, false imprisonment, receiving and concealing stolen property, and possession of marijuana. Devon Hawkins, 21, of Detroit, is charged with armed robbery and first-degree home invasion. A 71-year-old woman woke up at about 5 a.m. Jan. 19 to a flashlight in her face and robbers in her home. She was tied up and the home was ransacked. The woman’s son said the intruders were armed with a bat and broke in through a window. They allegedly threatened the woman and threatened to kill her cat. Her purse, cash, keys, wallet, jewelry and her wedding ring were stolen. The intruders also forced her to give up her ATM pin before going to a nearby Walmart and draining her checking account.
