David Isabell

David Isabell is charged with two counts of vehicular homicide in an Interstate 40 wreck in June 2016. Isabell was indicted for 'driver intoxication' vehicular homicide, vehicular homicide by recklessness, vehicular assault by DUI and reckless endangerment. Shelby Cox, 20 and Cameron Isabell, 23, died during the early morning crash, according to the Tennessee Highway Patrol, when a pickup truck driven by David Isabell struck a disabled tractor trailer on the side of the interstate. As a result, the pickup veered off the road into nearby woods, causing the vehicle to strike numerous trees. Neither passenger was wearing a seat belt. The passenger and driver of the disabled tractor trailer were not injured.
