Brandon Williams and Demetrice Ross are accused of murdering Thomas Arnold, a well-known Poncey-Highland resident and community volunteer on the Atlanta Beltline in 2022. Thomas Arnold was fatally shot on February 26, 2022. It is not clear why Williams and Ross allegedly targeted Arnold. The Fulton County Sheriff' s Office identified Williams as the gunman. Arnold was a longtime resident of Poncey-Highland and was known to walk the trails of the BeltLine and Freedom Park.
