Brandon Olsen fled a two-car accident scene in the early hours of January 2nd, 2014. Just after 1am he arrived at the Ralph L. Carr Colorado Judicial Center (the building that houses the Colorado Supreme Court). He shot out a window and went into the building. He then forcibly took keys from an unarmed building security guard. Olsen then went to the seventh floor where he fired several shots. Olsen also started a fire in a stairwell that was later extinguished by the Denver Fire Department. He surrendered around 3am and was arrested. Olsen is currently charged with first-degree arson, aggravated robbery and second-degree burglary, all of which are felonies. |
