Brad Simpson is charged with the murder of his wife, 51-year-old mother-of-four, Suzanne Clark Simpson who was reported missing on October 6, 2024. Earlier that day the couple had been in a fight at The Argyle, a dinner club in Alamo Heights, San Antonio. A neighbor also told police that around 11pm he saw Brad and Suzanne Simpson in a heated physical altercation outside their home. After later hearing screams from a wooded area he saw Brad re-emerge and drive off in his truck. The next day Brad allegedly bought concrete and wipes then was seen with bulky garbage bags and ice coolers covered up in a tarp in the flatbed of his truck. He visited a dump site before unloading a large object from the bed of his pickup truck at a nearby Bandera. To date Suzanne's body has not been found. Suzanne's DNA was found on a hand saw police say her real estate tycoon husband hid from authorities during the search for her. Brad also had his friend and longtime business partner, James Cotter, hide a machine gun for him after his wife disappeared. Simpson is charged with first-degree murder, tampering with evidence with the intent to impair a human corpse, third degree possession of prohibited weapons and third degree tampering/fabricating physical evidence with the intent to impair, unlawful restraint and bodily injury to a family member.
