Anthony Guadalupe a former Chappell Schools employee originally pleaded guilty to 14 counts of child molestation in October 2023 but later withdrew his plea. There had been an agreed plea bargain sentence of 35 years to life in prison when he had pleaded guilty to the charges. Guadalupe then pleaded not guilty to additional molestation charges, totaling more than 20 counts of lewd and lascivious molestation on a victim less than 12 years old. Now, if convicted, Guadalupe faces a minimum sentence of 103 years in prison.
