Zachery Gilbert , 26, pleaded guilty to involuntary manslaughter with a gun specification. He was initially charged with murder and tampering with evidence in the September 26, 2024, death of Brianne Otley, 34. Officers responded to the scene after reports of a female being shot where Brianne was pronounced dead. Gilbert, who allegedly fled the area, was located several blocks away two hours after the 911 call was placed. Under the terms of a plea, he faces a potential sentence of three to 16 years in prison, followed by a mandatory consecutive sentence of three years for the gun charge.
