William Kelly is charged with murdering his girlfriend and her unborn baby. Kelly, was indicted in March 2024 for allegedly beating to death Christine Falzone, 33, his girlfriend, at their home in December 2023. A law is being used for the first time in charging Kelly with second-degree murder for the homicide of Christine Falzone, 33, and her unborn child in Ossipee. Falzone was 35 to 37 weeks pregnant. If convicted, Kelly could face up to life in prison on each charge. Prior to the 2018 law change, he would have faced a maximum of 15 years in the death of the unborn child. The law applies only to a fetus that is at least 20 weeks old.
