Jeffrey Willis

Jeffrey Willis is charged with the kidnapping and murder of Jessica Heeringa, 25, who disappeared from her late-night job at a Norton Shores gas station in April 2013. Her body has never been recovered. Willis was convicted in late 2017 for the murder of jogger Rebekah Bletsch in June 2014. He still faces trial for the kidnapping of a teenage girl in April 2016, who escaped her abductor and later identified Willis as the suspect. Her identification of Willis and searches of his home and van led investigators to him as the suspect in the unsolved Heeringa and Bletsch cases. Prosecutors allege that Willis schemed to abduct women so he could rape, torture and murder them.
