Irene Whitehead is charged with felony murder and first-degree child abuse in the deaths of two of her children: 2-month-old Leo, who died on September 25, 2021, and 2-year-old Ryleigh, who died on September 3, 2025. She is also accused of abusing another one of her children. Her daughter and a fourth child are both in the custody of their fathers. Prosecution allege that Whitehead admitted to suffocating Ryleigh and Leo.
